Alzateaceae är en monotypisk familj med små träd eller buskar som är hemmahörande i Centralamerika och västra Sydamerika. De små blommorna sitter i samlingar.
Det enda släktet har ibland inkluderats i familjen Crypteroniaceae men även i andra familjer.
