Baseonema är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen oleanderväxter. Växterna i släktet är klätterväxter som blir mellan 4 och 6 meter långa. De har stammar som är uppsvullna nedtill, så kallade tjockstamsväxter. Utbredningsområdet är i Kenya och Tanzania.
