Pseudanthistiria är ett släkte i familjen gräs och består av cirka 2 arter. Släktet har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde på indiska subkontinenten och i Indokina.

Pseudanthistiria innehåller arter som är tuvbildande, ett- eller fleråriga örter som har linjära blad. Bladen utvecklas både vid basen och utmed strået och blir från 5 till 9 millimeter breda. Plantan utvecklar ett ledat strå som blir från 15 till 60 centimeter långt. Strået är ihåligt och i änden av strået utvecklas en blomställning. Blommorna sitter i småax som i sin tur har en blomställning likt en vippa.

Systematik

Det vetenskapliga namnet Pseudanthistiria fick släktet av Joseph Dalton Hooker i publikationen The flora of British India. Vol.7 när den gavs ut 1896. Typart för släktet är Pseudanthistiria heteroclita.
