Kottekaktus är en art i gråsuggekaktussläktet och familjen kaktusväxter.

Kottekaktus blir klotformad eller tillplattat klotformad och 4 till 6 centimeter i diameter. Taggarna är vitaktiga och ungefär 0,5 centimeter långa.

Blomman är 1,5 till 3 centimeter i diameter.

Utbredningsområdet är på 1600 meters höjd i Chihuahuaöknen i Nuevo León, Tamaulipas och San Luis Potosí i nordöstra Mexiko.
