Paraprenanthes är ett släkte som omfattar ungefär 10 arter i familjen asterväxter. Växterna i släktet är ett- till fleråriga örter. I varje blomkorg finns 7 till 15 småblommor. Blomfärgen är rosa eller lila. Utbredningsområdet är i Kina, östra Asien och Indokina.
