Mediocalcar är ett släkte i familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Malesien, Papuasien, sydvästra Stilla havet och nordvästra Stilla havet. De har sitt habitat i fuktiga skogar på höjder från havsnivå till 700 meter över havet. Släktet består av cirka 16 arter.

Arter i släktet är små epifyta örter som har ovala till koniska pseudobulber. De kan bilda tuvor genom krypande rhizomer. Från pseudobulben utveckla ett, sällan två, smalt elliptiska blad. En till två blommor utvecklas på ny tillväxt.

Systematik

Typart för släktet är M. paradoxum. Det vetenskapliga namnet Mediocalcar fick släktet av Johannes Jacobus Smith.
