Hickeliinae är en undertribus i familjen gräs och består av 9 släkten. Arter i denna undertribus har sitt sammanlagda utbredningsområde i östra tropiska Afrika och västra Indiska oceanen.

Det vetenskapliga namnet "Hickeliinae" fick denna undertribus av Aimée Antoinette Camus i publikationen Comptes rendus hebdomadaires des séances de l'Académie des sciences Vol.179 när den gavs ut 1924. Typsläkte för denna undertribus är Hitchcockella.
