Thecostele är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i indiska subkontinenten, Indokina och Malesien.
Arten i släktet är en liten till medelstor epifyt som kan förlora alla sina blad under vintern.

Systematik
Typart för släktet är T. alata. Det vetenskapliga namnet Thecostele fick släktet av Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach.
