Puya mitis är en flerårig ört i puyasläktet i familjen ananasväxter.
P. mitis blir ungefär 70 centimeter hög. Bladen är svärdformade, 15 centimeter långa och 0,5 centimeter breda.
Blommorna sitter i en samling överst på blomstjälken. Samlingen är 20 centimeter lång. Blommorna är drygt 3 centimeter långa. Kronbladen är gröngula.
Utbredningsområdet är i Peru i västra Sydamerika.
