Mormodes hoehnei är en art i spökorkidésläktet och familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i regnskogar längs bergssluttningar på höjder från 90 till 110 meter i norra Brasilien.

M. hoehnei är en liten epifyt med en pseudobulb som stam. Bladen är elliptiska och sitter infästa direkt på stammen. Blomman är rödaktig med blekgul läpp och blir upp till 2,5 centimeter i diameter. Den utvecklas på ett blomskaft som blir 8 till 12 centimeter långt. Från 25 till 35 blommor utvecklas samtidigt på samma blomskaft upprättväxande från basen av stammen.

M. hoehnei trivs bäst i ljusdunkel skugga till halvskugga och en genomsnittlig nattemperatur från 24 till 29°C. Blomning sker från hösten till tidig vinter.
