Homopholis är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen gräs och består av endast en art. Släktet har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Australien.

Homopholis innehåller arter som är tuvbildande, utvecklar utlöpare, är fleråriga örter som har linjära blad. Bladen utvecklas både vid basen och utmed strået och blir från 2 till 3 millimeter breda. Plantan utvecklar ett ledat strå som blir från 20 till 50 centimeter långt. Strået är ihåligt och i änden av strået utvecklas en blomställning. Blommorna sitter i småax som i sin tur har en blomställning likt en vippa.

Systematik

Det vetenskapliga namnet Homopholis fick släktet av Charles Edward Hubbard i publikationen Bulletin of Miscellaneous Information No. 3 när den gavs ut 1934. Typart för släktet är Homopholis belsonii.
