Aechmea corymbosa är en flerårig epifyt i blomsterananassläktet i familjen ananasväxter.
Denna art har ganska få blad. De är drygt 30 centimeter långa och ungefär 3 centimeter breda. Kanterna är tandade. Blomstjälken är knappt 30 centimeter hög och ibland något hårig. Längs den sitter röda stjälkblad. Överst på stjälken finns blommorna i en samling. Frukten är ett ärtstort bär.
Utbredningsområdet är i tropiskt klimat i Sydamerika.
