Bulbophyllum nutans är en art i bulbofyllumsläktet och familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i fuktiga skogar längs bergssluttningar på höjder från 1000 till 2200 meter i Madagaskar, Mauritius och på Réunion.

B. nutans är mycket små örter som är epifyta eller litofyt‏a med ett sympodialt växtsätt och har pseudobulber. Arten bildar små tuvor med hjälp av rhizomer mellan pseudobulberna. Bladen är elliptiska och utvecklas ur pseudobulben. Blomman är blekgul och blir upp till 1 centimeter i diameter. Den utvecklas på ett blomskaft som blir 10 till 15 centimeter långt. Från 8 till 25 blommor utvecklas samtidigt på samma blomskaft hängande från basen av stammen.

B. nutans trivs bäst i ljusdunkel skugga till halvskugga och en genomsnittlig nattemperatur från 15 till 19°C. Blomning sker från vintern till hösten, det vill säga året runt.
