Bulbophyllum andersonii är en art i bulbofyllumsläktet och familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i fuktiga skogar längs bergssluttningar på höjder från 500 till 2000 meter i Assam, Burma, Indien, Laos, sydöstra Kina, södra centrala Kina, Vietnam och östra Himalaya

B. andersonii är små örter som är epifyta med ett sympodialt växtsätt och har pseudobulber. Arten bildar små tuvor med hjälp av rhizomer mellan pseudobulberna. Bladen är spatelformade och ett ensamt blad utvecklas ur pseudobulben. Blomman är röd till rosa och blir upp till 1 centimeter i diameter. Den utvecklas på ett blomskaft som blir 8 till 12 centimeter långt. Från 6 till 12 blommor utvecklas samtidigt, likt en solfjäder, på samma blomskaft hängande från basen av stammen.

B. andersonii trivs bäst i ljusdunkel skugga till halvskugga och en genomsnittlig nattemperatur från 15 till 24°C. Blomning sker under hösten.
