Bulbophyllum acutiflorum är en art i bulbofyllumsläktet och familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i fuktiga skogar längs bergssluttningar på höjder från 900 till 1800 meter i Assam, Indien och östra Himalaya

B. acutiflorum är små örter som är epifyta med ett sympodialt växtsätt och har pseudobulber. Arten bildar små tuvor med hjälp av rhizomer mellan pseudobulberna. Bladen är smalt elliptiska och ett ensamt blad utvecklas ur pseudobulben. Blomman är vit med rödaktig läpp och blir upp till 4 centimeter i diameter. Den utvecklas på ett blomskaft som blir 5 till 8 centimeter långt. Från 6 till 8 blommor utvecklas samtidigt på samma blomskaft upprättväxande från basen av stammen.

B. acutiflorum trivs bäst i starkt ljus eller fullt solljus och en genomsnittlig nattemperatur från 15 till 24°C. Blomning sker från våren till hösten.
