Smallanthus är ett släkte som omfattar ungefär 20 arter i familjen asterväxter. Växterna i släktet är ett- och fleråriga örter samt buskar som oftast blir mellan 1 och 3 meter höga. Blommorna är vanligen gula till gulorange. Utbredningsområdet är i Amerika.

Släktet är uppkallat efter en amerikansk botaniker, John Kunkel Small.
