Dimorphochloa är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen gräs och består av endast en art. Släktet har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Australien.

Dimorphochloa innehåller arter som är tuvbildande, fleråriga örter som har linjära blad. Bladen utvecklas både vid basen och utmed strået och blir från 3 till 6 millimeter breda. Plantan utvecklar ett ledat strå som blir från 40 till 100 centimeter långt. Strået är ihåligt och i änden av strået utvecklas en blomställning. Blommorna sitter i småax som i sin tur har en blomställning likt en vippa.

Systematik

Det vetenskapliga namnet Dimorphochloa fick släktet av Stanley Thatcher Blake i publikationen Papers from the Department of Biology Vol.1 när den gavs ut 1941. Typart för släktet är Dimorphochloa rigida.
