Couratarisläktet omfattar ungefär 20 arter i familjen paranötsväxter. Växterna i släktet är träd. Blommorna är zygomorfa och sitter i samlingar. Utbredningsområdet är i tropiskt klimat i Centralamerika och Sydamerika. Släktets habitat är i regnskog. Några arter används som virke.
