Pitcairnia poeppigiana är en ört i flamkastarsläktet i familjen ananasväxter.
Bladen är lansettformade, 100 centimeter långa och 8 till 9 centimeter breda. Längs kanterna sitter taggar.
Överst på blomstjälken sitter blommorna i en tät, oval samling. Blommorna blir 7 centimeter långa.
Utbredningsområdet är i Peru i västra Sydamerika.
